North Swanbourne Beach is one of the most popular clothing-optional beaches, located a 20-minute drive from Perth city centre, which has been used by naturists since World War II.
This sandy beach is popular with gay men who come to enjoy the clear blue sea and surf. The nude section is 3 km long - make sure you stay north of the sign. Showers and toilets are inside the nearby Shore House.
There are some sand dunes near here, too - they're fenced off by the authorities, but if you're brave enough and feeling naughty you might just find a secluded spot. We're not saying anything more!

Sandy beach with a clothing-optional area of about 1 km in length. The sea here is quite calm; so if you like to surf, we'd suggest going to North Swanbourne Beach instead.
Alternatively, you can make waves in the sand dunes behind - very cruisy in the summer with gay men.

This Class A reserve is located 18 km west of Fremantle, quite far out from Perth city centre but definitely worth the journey by boat or plane - this stunning island features many private, secluded beaches.
The further you go away from the popular beaches - the main beaches at Thompson Bay or Geordie Bay are very busy - you are more likely to get away without wearing any clothes (or doing anything remotely naughty for that matter).
The beaches here aren't legally nude, but so long as you stay away from other people you'll be fine.
