There aren’t many gay districts that bask in the shadow of one of the world’s oldest and most recognisable structures, but Rome’s aptly named Gay Street, leads directly to the infamous Colosseum. Unlike its notably brutal neighbour, Gay Street is as welcoming and warm as gay districts come, boasting a fantastic range of gay bars and clubs. These venues have something for any gay traveler, and you could easily spend all night exploring the countless bars that line this historic street.Â
Rome Gay Bars
Rome has a quieter gay bar scene than you'd expect, but gay bars are still common, the guys here tend to go out late to a dance party or a cruise club.
