    Double Six Beach (Pantai 66)

Located near the front of Hotel Kumala Pantai, the Double Six Beach area used to be a popular spot with gay sunbathers, particularly after the sun went down.

Today, the 'gay beach' section and the rainbow flag are all gone. The new occupants are straight. Here, at Double Six Beach, though, chairs and umbrellas are for rent and cold drinks available.

    Location

Actually, when I was here the bar has two umbrellas on the colours of the rainbow flag right at the front by the water. The tiny rainbow flag is easy to miss. It is attached to the mast next to a white and red flag.

    Cozy Beach

Read the previous post. Sounds like he went to a completely different beach. Putra makes the beach fun. Went by myself and was welcomed to a table full of guys and it was easy to make friends. The sunsets are amazing. Been coming here off and on for 2 years. Stop by and say Rick sent you. Easy to find. Just look for the end of the wall in front of Seaside restaurant. A bit hard to see the rainbow flag. Stop by ideal if you you want to feel welcome.
